Title: The Dead Zone's Legacy: Quantifying rates & consequences of hypoxia exposure for coastal fishes

Biosketch

Dr. Benjamin Walther is an Associate Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. He received his PhD in Biological Oceanography from the Joint Program at the Massachusets Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, after which he completed two postdoctoral associate positions in Australia at the University of Adelaide and the Australian National University. His current work focuses on using chemical markers to reconstruct migrations, habitat use and environmental stress histories in coastal organisms.
